Renfrew County VCARS is governed by a local Board of Directors who strive to reflect the diversity of Renfrew County.  Members are elected at the Annual General Meeting normally held each June.  General Agency memberships may be purchased through the office before the AGM.

The Board has three Standing Committees: Finance Committee, Direct Services Committee and a Human Resource Committee.  Other committees are establish as needed on an ad hoc basis.  The Board is responsible for establishing policy and setting organizational goals.
